Humility & The MBTI

June 15, 2020

I have to be honest.  It’s been a week.  It’s been like 10 weeks wrapped up into the last week.

“Great leaders understand themselves, and this is how they can best understand others too. A framework like the MBTI prompts leaders to consistently think about their own preferences and use this knowledge on an everyday basis. It’s accessible and constantly useful.”

I wrapped up 4-days of intensive Myers-Briggs credentialing and rolled right into my daughter’s high school graduation social-distancing open house.  I’m pretty sure my wife and daughter’s planned the whole thing, I just had to smile and greet people.  There was a final exam for the MBTI credentialing as well somewhere in between.

So, right now, my personality type really wants to be a leader and tell you all the amazing things I learned and share with you ideas to help you grow and develop.  I want to check a bunch of things off my list and share with you some awesome ideas I have moving forward.

But the meaningful decision right now is to spend some time with my family, to embrace my daughter’s accomplishments, and to enjoy a few moments of peace before the storm of preparing for her future begins.

Know this – that training was some of the most intensive learning I’ve done since my doctorate program.  I can’t wait to share it with you.  However, I am going to choose the meaning of the moment, and I will write more on it next week.

In the meantime, maybe you can see if there is anything on the podcast that might appeal to you – if you’re not following me on Facebook at DrDanielAFranz, you may have missed the 6-episode launch and the new weekly update last Friday – check it out here: TMP-Episode 7 – Work & Meaning

Take care – have a spectacular week!  – Dan
