Thank You

May 9, 2021

Thank you.  Lately, I’ve been filled with a lot of gratitude.

It’s been a rough few months – on top of a rough year – nothing I’m sure you don’t know already.  But the fact is, at least how I’m seeing it lately, is that you are doing something about it.  Whether you are just checking these Mental Health & Meaning Updates each week, or listening to the podcast (I promise, I’ll get back to recording more soon!), or maybe you’ve even stopped in to work with me or one of the outstanding therapists here in our offices.  All the hard work is paying off – and let me tell you, it’s been some long days around here, so I am sure you have been putting in some serious work!

It’s going to get better – it IS GETTING BETTER!  It’s just going to take a little more time.  And a little more effort.

But again, I just wanted to thank you.  Thank you for trusting me, for trusting US, to help.  It is an honor to witness the fruit of the hard work you are doing, and to be, in some small way, a part of it.

Thank you.  Just this week, I was honored to have witnessed these ideas – these miracles:

Out of trauma can come triumph.  We can turn suffering into achievement.  Love and connection can grow from loss.  Out of addiction, we can manifest purpose.  And from betrayal, trust can be found again, and maybe even love can be rebuilt.

So I’ll leave you with this – no matter what your situation is now, you can choose your attitude towards it, you can discover meaning, and maybe even make it better.

Take care.  – Dan
