I’ve said this many times in many different ways… In my line of work, I am blessed to meet so many amazing people. I was asked this question directly recently, in response to a podcast I was on (details coming soon, in the meanwhile, get out https://nowwhat.com/). “Do you really think all the people you work with are ‘that’ amazing” (I am totally paraphrasing here – we will all have to listen to that podcast to learn what was really said.) To which I answered, “well, yeah… I believed that before I studied logotherapy, but Frankl reminds us that every person s a a singular and unique with a task to accomplish”, or, as he says it,
This uniqueness and singleness which distinguishes each individual and gives a meaning to his existence has a bearing on creative work as much as it does on human love. When the impossibility of replacing a person is realized, it allows the responsibility which a man has for his existence and its continuance to appear in all its magnitude.
All that to say, my friend, Greg Liotta, is one of those special unique people. We met at our shared Ketamine practicum in Boulder, Colorado back in late 2024. We were partners in this beautiful experience – he sat watch over me as a journyed through the Ketamine experience, and I witnessed his journey – each of us working with the other to prepare and integrate the journey. Something about a psychedelic journey can bring people together in ‘instamate’ ways.
